SYNOPSIS
The iconic conventions of the chick flick genre have permeated the female zeitgeist. Movie quotes, makeover montages, and meet cutes have created a shared language and experience amongst women. Chick Flick the Musical celebrates this phenomenon, telling the story of four women who get together for a girls night in, complete with drinking game. As the festivities proceed they each divulge that their lives haven’t quite turned out the way they’d hoped. With the help of the unconditional love of friends and the life advice that chick flicks offer, the women go on a transformative journey of empowerment.
